Join us for a fun and relaxing evening where we will be sampling local craft brews and discuss everything prescribed fire. Meet local experts and fellow burners, get in on fire trivia, and tour recently burned sites at Spring Creek Prairie. Light food and snacks will be available.

Come see how fire seasonality and frequency affect grassland systems. Site will include fall, spring, and summer burned units with the potential of live fire demonstration, weather permitting.

Learn about CRP Prairie Strips and their benefits for improving farmable acres and wildlife habitat. Presentations will be given by resource professionals at the Henry J. Stumpf Intl. Wheat Center in Grant NE. Field visits will include a visit to the demonstration site at the Wheat Center and to an offsite active CRP CP43 Prairie Strips contract.
