Join us for a growing season burn workshop on August 15th near Linwood, Nebraska. This workshop will introduce participants to burning outside of our normal burn season which is typically in March and April and focus on expanding our burn season to include other times of the year including the summer. Research has shown that many fires across the great plains were during the summer months of July and August and we will be talking about some of the misconceptions along with the many benefits of conducting burns during the summer months. Cost to attend will be $10 which will include lunch and refreshments. Students and Volunteer Fire Fighters are able to attend Free but please pre-register to guarantee a meal for everyone.
